MEDICAL REIKI CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Enrollment Agreement & Terms of Participation
This Enrollment Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Kelly Tunny, Blissful Healing LLC (“Instructor”) and the individual enrolling in the Medical Reiki Certification (“Participant”).
By completing the registration process, submitting payment, and agreeing to these terms, Participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
1. PROGRAM
The Medical Reiki Training Program is an educational and professional development program designed to introduce participants to the principles, practices, techniques, and professional considerations involved in integrating Reiki as a complementary practice.
Training may be offered in-person and in online formats.
The program is intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or other licensed healthcare services.
Completion of the program does not grant the Participant a medical, nursing, counseling, therapy, or other professional healthcare license or credential.
Participant is responsible for practicing Reiki only within the scope of any professional license, certification, employer requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards that apply to them.
2. PROGRAM FEE
The total tuition for Medical Reiki Training is:
In-Person Certification: $275 per participant
Online Certification: $130 per participant
In-Person Training: A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a participant's spot in an in-person training. The remaining $200 balance is due according to the payment instructions provided by the Instructor and must be paid in full before or on the date of training.
Online Certification: The full $130 tuition is due at the time of enrollment. Due to the nature of the digital course content and immediate access provided upon registration, online certification tuition becomes non-refundable once enrollment is completed.
If a Participant enrolls in the online certification but does not complete the course, the full $130 tuition remains due and no refund will be issued.
Online certification participants will receive lifetime access to the online course materials, subject to the continued availability of the Instructor's online platform and course.
3. DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION
The $75 non-refundable deposit for the in-person training is applied toward the participant's total $275 tuition. The deposit reserves the participant's place in their selected training date.
If a participant needs to cancel their selected in-person training date for a legitimate reason, they may transfer their $75 deposit only one time to another available Medical Reiki in-person training date.
The transfer request must be submitted to the Instructor in writing before the originally scheduled training date.
A transferred deposit:
May only be transferred one time
Is subject to availability
Must be applied to another Medical Reiki in-person training date
May not be transferred to another person
May not be exchanged for cash
May not be applied toward another service or program
If a Participant does not attend their scheduled training and does not arrange an eligible one-time transfer with the Instructor before the training date, the $75 deposit will be forfeited. A no-show is treated the same as a cancellation without an approved transfer.
If a Participant transfers their registration to another training date, the $75 deposit will be applied to the new training date and the remaining $200 balance will be due according to the payment terms for that training.
4. TRAINING DATE CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY INSTRUCTOR
The Instructor reserves the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a training when reasonably necessary, including because of insufficient enrollment, illness, emergencies, facility issues, weather, or circumstances beyond the Instructor's reasonable control.
If the Instructor cancels or reschedules a training, the Participant will be given the option to transfer their registration and payments to a comparable future training date or receive a refund of payments made toward the affected training, as applicable.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & COURSE MATERIALS
All course materials provided as part of Medical Reiki Training are the intellectual property of the Instructor unless otherwise stated.
This includes, but is not limited to: Course manuals and workbooks, Written materials, Training guides, Videos and recordings, Audio materials, Presentations, Worksheets, Exercises, Teaching methods, Training frameworks, Techniques and instructional sequences, Website and online course content, Downloadable resources, Graphics and other original educational materials, The Medical Reiki Training curriculum and its organization.
Participant receives a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use course materials for their own educational and professional development.
Participant may not, without prior written permission from the Instructor:
Copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, or sublicense course materials
Share course materials with individuals who are not enrolled participants
Upload course materials to websites, file-sharing platforms, social media, or other public or private repositories
Use the course curriculum or materials to create or teach a competing training program
Present the Instructor's curriculum or materials as their own
Create derivative training programs based substantially on the Instructor's proprietary curriculum
Record, reproduce, or redistribute the training for commercial purposes
Participant may not photograph, record, livestream, or otherwise reproduce substantial portions of an in-person or online training without prior written permission from the Instructor.
Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of the Instructor's intellectual property to Participant.
6. PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL USE
Completion of Medical Reiki Training allows Participant to describe their training accurately and use the knowledge and techniques learned within their own professional practice, provided such use is consistent with applicable laws, professional licensing requirements, employer policies, and ethical standards.
Participant is responsible for determining whether and how Reiki may be incorporated into their individual professional setting.
The Instructor does not guarantee employment, increased income, business growth, patient outcomes, or any particular professional result from completion of the program.
7. HEALTHCARE, MEDICAL DISCLAIMER & SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Medical Reiki is presented as a complementary practice and educational modality and is not medical treatment.
Reiki should not be represented as a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, medication, emergency care, psychotherapy, or any other professional healthcare service.
The Medical Reiki Certification Program is educational in nature. Kelly Tunny and Blissful Healing LLC are not providing medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or individualized healthcare through this training program or its course materials.
Participant understands that information presented in the program should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Participants and their clients/patients should seek appropriate medical or other professional care when needed.
Participant agrees not to represent Reiki as a replacement for medical diagnosis, treatment, medication, emergency care, psychotherapy, or other licensed healthcare services.
Participant agrees to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and obtain appropriate consent when providing Reiki or related services.
Participant is solely responsible for remaining within the scope of their professional license, training, credentials, and applicable laws and regulations.
Participant is responsible for determining whether Reiki may be offered within their particular professional setting and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, employer policies, insurance requirements, and professional standards.
8. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
Participant understands that this is an educational training program and that individual experiences and results may vary.
Participant is responsible for their own participation, learning, professional judgment, and implementation of techniques following training.
The Instructor does not guarantee that Participant will achieve any particular personal, professional, financial, or client-related outcome.
Participant understands that they are responsible for their own decisions and actions during and following the training, including how they choose to use, apply, teach, or incorporate information and techniques presented in the program.
9. LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
In-person training may include demonstrations, exercises, energy work, hands-on Reiki practice, and practice sessions involving the Participant and/or other participants. By participating, Participant voluntarily assumes responsibility for their participation in these activities.
Participant agrees to communicate any physical limitations, sensitivities, concerns, or boundaries to the Instructor before participating in any hands-on exercise. Participant may decline participation in any exercise or practice that they do not feel comfortable completing.
Participant understands that Reiki practice and participation in training may result in individual physical, emotional, mental, or energetic experiences that vary from person to person. The Instructor does not guarantee any particular experience or outcome.
Participant agrees to use reasonable judgment and to stop or modify participation if they experience discomfort, distress, or any other concern.
Participant is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before providing Reiki to another person and for practicing within the limits of their own training, credentials, professional scope, and applicable laws and regulations.
10. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Participant agrees to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kelly Tunny, Blissful Healing LLC, and their respective owners, representatives, instructors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from Participant's independent use, application, representation, or practice of Reiki following the training, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of the Instructor.
Participant understands that Kelly Tunny and Blissful Healing LLC are not responsible for decisions Participant makes regarding the use of Reiki within their professional practice or for any representations Participant makes to clients, patients, employers, or other individuals regarding Reiki or their certification.
11. ONLINE TRAINING
For online training, Participant is responsible for having reliable internet access and the technology reasonably necessary to access the training.
Online course access, videos, downloads, and other digital materials are intended solely for the enrolled Participant and may not be shared with others.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, online course access is for the individual Participant only.
Online course access is provided on a lifetime basis. “Lifetime access” means for as long as the course remains offered and available by the Instructor through the designated online platform. The Instructor reserves the right to update, modify, replace, or reorganize course content as reasonably necessary.
Because the online program consists of digital educational content that may be accessed immediately following enrollment, the $130 online certification tuition is non-refundable once enrollment and course access have been provided, regardless of whether Participant completes the course.
12. CONFIDENTIALITY & RESPECT
Participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of personal information, experiences, or stories shared by other participants during training.
Participant agrees not to share another participant's personal information, disclosures, photographs, or identifying information without their permission.
13. CERTIFICATION
Upon satisfying the Instructor's stated training and participation requirements, Participant may receive a Medical Reiki Certification issued by the Instructor.
To receive certification, an in-person Participant must attend all required training and participate in the required Reiki practice and hands-on training. Online Participants must complete all required online course and practice requirements established by the Instructor.
Upon successful completion of the applicable certification requirements, the Instructor will provide a Medical Reiki Certification certificate that includes the Participant's full legal name and date of completion.
Certification represents completion of the Instructor's Medical Reiki training program. It does not constitute a state-issued professional license, medical credential, or authorization to practice medicine or another regulated healthcare profession.
The term “Medical Reiki” refers to the name and educational framework of the Instructor's training program and does not indicate that Reiki is a medical treatment or that completion of the program grants a medical license, medical credential, or authorization to practice medicine.
14. REMOVAL FROM TRAINING
The Instructor reserves the right to remove a Participant from the program without refund if Participant engages in behavior that is disruptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, unsafe, or otherwise materially interferes with the learning environment or the rights of other participants.
15. PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING
From time to time, photographs or recordings may be taken during in-person training for educational or promotional purposes.
Participant may indicate whether they consent to appearing in promotional photographs or recordings through the applicable registration or consent form.
Participant's participation in the training does not grant the Instructor permission to use Participant's name, image, or likeness for promotional purposes unless such permission has been separately provided.
16. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Instructor provides educational information and training based on her professional experience and knowledge.
Nothing in the program or course materials is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Participant remains responsible for exercising appropriate professional judgment and following applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, employer policies, and professional standards.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Instructor and Blissful Healing LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from Participant's participation in or use of the program or course materials.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
17. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Medical Reiki Certification Program shall be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of the State of Indiana, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, together with any applicable registration forms, policies, and written terms expressly incorporated into it, constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and the Instructor regarding the Medical Reiki Certification Program and supersedes any prior verbal or written representations regarding the subject matter of this Agreement.
Any modification to this Agreement must be made in writing and agreed to by the Instructor and Participant, unless otherwise permitted under this Agreement or applicable law.
20. AGREEMENT & ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
By checking the agreement box, signing electronically, submitting this enrollment form, and/or submitting payment, Participant confirms that they:
Have read and understand this Agreement;
Agree to be bound by these terms;
Understand the $275 total tuition;
Understand that the $75 in-person deposit is non-refundable;
Understand the one-time transfer policy;
Agree to respect the Instructor's intellectual property and course materials;
Understand that Medical Reiki is complementary and does not replace conventional healthcare; and
Confirm that the information provided during registration is accurate.
Electronic acceptance and signatures may be used to execute this Agreement.
PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By registering, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the Medical Reiki Training Enrollment Agreement and Terms of Participation.
